Random Commentary:
- Door-to-door insurance sales must be a horrible job to have unless you’re really a people person.
- Um, why isn’t calling the police first ever an option for these people?
- “Oh, there it is.” *opens the GLASS door* “She’s not here…” Really? I couldn’t tell. It’s not like you could see through glass or anything.
Final Thoughts:
This episode was… eh yet good? I don’t know how to explain it. At first, I was really into it. I mean, most good horrors start off with believing your family member or friend is calling you over to the abandoned part of town. And of course, why wouldn’t the character go by themselves?
The floor of cell phones and the explanation of why they were there was pretty cool to me, for some weird reason. But, the second I heard that classic “grrrmfbjshd” groan, I thought, “Damn it.” I’m super picky with zombie stories. I dislike a majority of them, so I wasn’t too happy when I thought that’s what this might be. And then we get a face reveal and it just killed it for me. However, the whole “Hang up before the timer reaches zero or he’ll come in” and then that “Ha-ha, I lied” parts were great. If the creature had been something other than a boring ‘ol zombie, I would’ve really enjoyed this episode as much as the last. Also, what’s up with women tricking these poor men to their deaths for the past two episodes? Seriously, poor dudes.
Overall, this was another surprisingly pleasant episode, apart from the creature reveal. What’s going on with this season? Most of these episodes are actually not as bad as the previous seasons, and it’s usually the other way around. I’m not complaining, though. I’m having a lot of fun watching and reviewing these. Onwards to the next!

I would’ve rated this episode a little higher just for humor points alone if they literally did have her say “Haha! I lied!” “Hah! Gotcha! Monster’s gonna eat you now. Byeeee!” lol And I didn’t realize at first that she went inside the glass phone booth to look for her sister. Not a lot of places to hide, there, lady. lol You’d think this zombie monster thing would have a better system set up than just a really long and lucky game of phone tag. Why is it even ‘haunting’ this phone booth anyway?
Another great review! I look forward to reading your thoughts on episode 8! 😀

Honestly, a lot of episodes this season would’ve been better off as part of a weird, comedy series.
